Thank you for visiting my site!

I am currently working as a Java microservices developer building web applications for legal professionals. It is interesting work and has afforded me the opportunity to learn about the data involved in the field of law. Previously I worked as a java/database backend developer building applications for data center management and operation which allowed me to learn about the evolving challenges of proper data center design and implementation. I also have had the chance to try my hand at a bit of project management.

Previously I have developed other applications in C spanning search engines to distributed computing and had the opportunity of porting Unix command and library code. It's been a fun ride! (Details and professional recommendations are available on my LinkedIn page).

I have dabbled in reactive mobile web development for FRC robotics scouting and some mobile development for iPhone and iPad and MongoDB in my spare time. Looking forward to doing more!

Volunteer Experience

My biggest hobbies are mentoring robotics programs for kids (FIRST FLL and FRC), bird watching and dancing. My passion is conservation science. I have had the privilege of volunteering for a number of worthy organizations dedicated to helping our environment and preserving birds:
